Clipper Fan makes Half Court Shot and Wins a new car!

On April 16, 2012 @ Staples Center - Los Angeles CA.
CLippers vs. OKC: During the break a fan had a chance to win a brand new car if he made a Half Court shot - It happened to be his birthday and he made probably the biggest basket in his LIFE.

The Awesome thing was that it was his (the Fan) birthday and I've watch this done at the game so many time, but for some reason I just felt like he was going to make it so I decided to take a video and I'm glad I did... As you can see from the reaction people were surprised and happy for him! It will definitely be a memorable birthday and be reminded of it everytime he steps in his new car...

But what I will remember most is that even though he(fan) made that shot, I'd selfishly like to think he made it for my wife who's birthday was also on that day... lol... We definitely have lots to give thanks for and all of God's blessings without a new car... It was a fun moment we can look back on...

Shirts Done Wrong... means, I gotta just keep doing them till I get them RIGHT!

I am a Blake Griffin fan and saw a design online that I really liked, so I decided to make a T-shirt out of it...  I enjoyed wearing it to a Clipper game before washing it, but then catastrophe happened! It was another "SHIRT GONE WRONG!" moment... Now, my Muppet models can wear it or I can continue to use it for bed or while working on my car... Nevertheless, this is an example of a shirt done wrong...  The picture shows some ink bleed...  It's still wearable but not the intended result.

Fortunately, I've had the opportunity to design and print shirts for various organizations, friends, clubs, and companies for practically free or cost but one thing that continues to prevent me from fully stepping out into the business world of sales is the inability to perfect the printing process...  Many of them continued to request if I could make more T-shirts for them and I did so with some hesitation knowing it was still works in progress, but they were informed and willing since most of the time it was just for an event to be worn one time...  I also like to help if possible since I do know the actual cost involved in purchasing custom made designs and prints which ussually require minimum runs. Yet, I fully understand the disappointment when a perfectly good T-shirt was amazing before you wash it and remarkably useless afterwards...

Obviously, I enjoy designing and printing T-shirts, but what I do not like are the outcomes thus far...  I could easily outsource and leave it to the so called "professionals" but at such a small scale it really does not make any sense to do so at this time which leads me to continue to attempt and master this craft and the painful task of having to wash shirts again and again to determine if inks bleed, fade, or disintegrates into pieces of what use to be a design on a shirt...

I humble myself and put a disclaimer to the people who have requested me to print T-shirts that I am NOT A PROFESSIONAL! But I love to HELP if I can and so far it has worked out great...  But recently, I have had to deal with the situation of an UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER - although I can not really call them Customers since I really do not charge, except take donations if they insist...  Nevertheless, this issue of "SHIRTS DONE WRONG" occurred and has given me more passion to pursue an answer to DO SHIRTS RIGHT!!!

Therefore, I've decided that I will no longer make shirts for the purpose of practicing on their behalf but instead make shirts for the purpose of the love and enjoyment I have in doing them for myself and anyone who does not mind accepting gifts of T-shirts that are works in progress with the chance the the inks may bleed, fade, or blow up in their faces... lol...

I am so thankful for those opportunities to use my resource and they have helped lead me towards making this a legit business.  I know that once this business has been fully established there is NO ROOM for ERROR or mistakes.  I want to embark in doing things properly and it's just part of LIFE and LIVING IN FULL EFFECT!

I would appreciate your continued support and hope that you continue to take time in following my progress as well as interact by making comments, subscribing, follow and like us on Facebook...  If you are in business and want to network or give advice, ask questions... I would love to hear from you...  Thanks again for reading. God Bless!

Today we Celebrate LIFE with the RISEN CHRIST!

Today we celebrate THE RISEN CHRIST and give thanks with JOY to our RISEN SAVIOUR who has given us VICTORY over sin through His death and resurrection.

Lord, thank you and may everyday be a celebration reminder that you are in heaven and have prepared a place for us as well, by your grace and mercy are we given this opportunity with the price you paid as the ultimate sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins on the cross - an undeserved death for you were sinless, but bore our sins to save us from eternal damnation. Thank You Jesus!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

R.I.P to RUBY: Welcome Home

Shine Brightly in Heaven...

Today we were informed from our boss that our co-worker who was recently diagnosed with cancer had died.  It was terrible news in light of the recent death of another co-worker this week.  Although many of us were aware of the circumstances surrounding her death it definitely did hit many people hard including myself. I had spent a very brief moment of time with her but looking back I thank God for that opportunity because it made such a big impact in my life even now.

It's interesting how someone you barely know can impact your life.  The more I think about the past week and my co-workers that God has allowed me to spend time with before their death, I am humbled and reminded of the brevity of life.  It actually brings tears to my eyes and encourages me that the Good News needs to be shared as a daily part of our lives.  I am glad to say that I will one day see her again in heaven and find peace in knowing that she has gone to be with the Lord.  Yet, I can't truly explain the sadness and grief that I am feeling.  It is bittersweet, but SWEET indeed to know that she has completed her race and is truly in a better place.

I know that she had her struggles while on this earth and had battled against sin, but we all have and continue to do so.  Thank God we find our source of strength in Jesus, as well as forgiveness and freedom from sin thru the blood Jesus has shed for us.

Before she died, I recall a few conversations we had in which she was so thankful to God even in the midst of the diagnosis.  I really don't know how to express it except God's grace and love shown in her circumstance.  She was a strong and independent women who lived her life according to how she pleased, but when her physical strength and independence was affected due to the disease she had no other choice but to let go and place God where He belongs which is FIRST and only FIRST...  God restored her Spirit and she just kept giving glory and thanks to the Lord.  It is amazing and I think the best part of all is she returned to her FIRST LOVE Jesus and is now with Him forever and ever, and ever for ETERNITY...

Just like many of us who have faced difficult circumstance and have had no where else to turn, the only place left was to depend on the LORD.  Ideally GOD should always be number ONE whether things are great or bad.  Yet it is easy for us to forget God in the midst of our daily living.  We get busy or feel like we are in control. Maybe we just want to do our own thing and leave God somewhere distant until we need Him..  Yet, God remains the same and is always there for us like a good shepard calling our name to bring us back to safe refuge.  When we do not listen we open ourselves up to many things that we probably would not do otherwise.  Nevertheless, we will be humbled... We will one day whether on earth or eternity be reminded and judged accordingly, but God gives us opportunities to do so while on earth...

The Good News! Whether you have never known Christ or have strayed away... He always welcomes us with open arms, all we have to do is acknowledge our sins, mistakes, habits and hang-ups to Him and ask for His forgiveness and help.  Trust and believe that He has forgiven us and died on the cross to prove that point. He is RISEN! He has given us freedom to LIVE|LIFE to the FULLEST for ETERNITY where Jesus is alive and has prepared our place when He calls us home, but until then let us continue to seek Him daily and make Him the Boss of all bosses, the King of all kings, and Lord of all lords...  LIVE for HIM and our death will just be a continuation of LIFE in Heaven.

Ruby's death is a reminder of the brevity of LIFE, but LIFE is available with GOD for ETERNITY... I'm glad to be able to see my friend again one day in Heaven and we know it is all because of Jesus! Thank You JESUS!

R.I.P - D.R.E.

R.I.P. to D.R.E: I hope to see you in heaven one day...

Today I got word that my co-worker died and it definitely took alot of us by surprise.  In the brief time we shared together he definitely made a lasting impression in my heart and mind, a reminder of how precious and unpredictable life can be.  Here today, gone tomorrow...  I didn't even get to say goodbye, our last day of work we didn't get to see each other before leaving work...

Monday came and he was on my mind, I sent him a text before work with reference to the recent Lotto fiasco, the last time I saw him he actually bought a lottery ticket for me because I insisted that I did not want to join a Lotto Pool at work, but he said "I don't care, I'm gonna buy you one and put your name on the list because I don't want you to be the only one left here when we win all that money".  Thinking of it now, he had the actual thought to think about me and insisted to plead his case...  Yet, I had the ticket to heaven and did not have that same persistences to tell him more and more about Jesus...

It makes me think about the things we had a chance to talk about and reflect on what I wish I could have said, or have been more persistent in saying...  Without getting religious or seem insensitive, I have faith in Jesus Christ and follow His teachings in the Bible which say, Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE.  He died for my sins and has forgiven me, but more so... He rose from the dead in VICTORY of those sins...  This is our ticket to heaven, Jesus allows us entrance...  I enjoyed our conversations and opportunities to share my faith, but honestly I thought we would have more time...  Obviously, he is no longer with us physically...

Me and Dre had the chance to discuss this briefly before he died, but at the time he had the thought "it's just a cycle", he didn't believe in heaven or hell... or at least never really thought much about it.  To him it was just the "cycle of life" and he was focused on today and living on earth to do the best that he can...  No doubt, just like many us - we are all trying our best to do our best while still on earth, to LIVE|LIFE to the FULL, enjoy our family and friends, provide and take care of responsibilities, but there is definitely more to life than living on earth.

There is a CREATOR - God who we will meet once again, but it's either in a place of PURE RIGHTEOUSNESS in which GOD resides or hell in which He is distant and people are separated because God is so pure that He can not let or allow evil in his presence.  The GOOD NEWS - JESUS is our way to heaven by faith and acknowledgement of what He did for us - To make him our LORD and SAVIOUR.

It's always sad to find out that someone has died - my prayers go out to his close family and friends who are grieving in the process.  I hope to see my friend once again in heaven, an entry into heaven has definitely made available to us thru Jesus, but let us not wait before it's too late and also tell others about the Good News.
